Module: ATM-FORUM-SNMP-M4-MIB

OID (symbolic): ATM-FORUM-SNMP-M4-MIB::atmfM4VclXConnDeleted

Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE

Description: Indicates that the VCL cross-connection has just been deleted. When a cross-connection is deleted along with its VCL endpoints, this trap should be emitted to indicate the deletion of the entire group of objects.

What is atmfM4VclXConnDeleted?

This is a trap notification sent when a virtual circuit link (VCL) cross-connection in an ATM network is deleted, signaling the removal of a connection between two ATM endpoints. The trap includes information about the operational status of both directions of the cross-connection. Network operators receive this trap to track ATM circuit lifecycle events and identify when connections are torn down.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' ATM-FORUM-SNMP-M4-MIB::atmfM4VclXConnDeleted
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.353.5.1.3.1.2.0.65

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
