What is atmfM4IfLosAlarm?

This notification alerts operators when a Loss of Signal (LOS) condition occurs on an ATM interface's physical transmission path. LOS means the interface has detected a complete absence of incoming signal, indicating physical layer failure or severe link degradation. Network administrators use this alarm to quickly identify and respond to cable breaks, transceiver failures, or other critical physical layer problems on ATM connections.
