What is atmfM4HwPIUnitMismatchAlarm?
This SNMP trap (notification) is sent when a plug-in hardware unit in an ATM network element is inserted but is of the wrong type or is incompatible with the slot. An operator would receive this alarm when they install incorrect hardware or when the system detects a hardware mismatch condition. This helps alert network administrators to installation errors that could prevent proper system operation.
