What is atmfM4VcUpcNpcHistDiscardedClp0?
This counter tracks the number of ATM cells discarded due to usage parameter control (UPC) or network parameter control (NPC) policing violations specifically when the cell loss priority (CLP) bit is set to 0. CLP=0 cells are higher priority, so separate tracking indicates whether traffic policing is dropping important traffic. Network administrators monitor this to detect if quality-of-service contracts are being enforced and whether cell discard is impacting priority traffic.
