Description:
Indicates that a power problem alarm condition has occurred on the hardware unit associated with the specified index. A hardware index of 0 indicates that the error occurred in the ATM NE but not in any one hardware unit maintained in the MIB table.
What is atmfM4HwPowerAlarm?
This notification (trap) is generated when a power supply fault is detected in ATM network element hardware. The alarm identifies the specific hardware unit experiencing the problem or indicates a general system power issue. An operator receives this alert to immediately investigate power distribution and take corrective action such as replacing a failed power supply module.
Examples
Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):
