groupSrcAddrLearningMode

Module: ATI-MIB

OID (symbolic): ATI-MIB::groupSrcAddrLearningMode

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.207.8.1.2.2.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: AT-3100 product family only. This object indicates the Source Address Learning Mode. Mode1 : Automatic; passive devices: Automatic MAC address learning. Re-learn port MAC address after a port is disabled/re-enabled. Passive devices connected to a port will see all backbone traffic. Mode2 : Automatic; passive devices: Automatic MAC address learning. Re-learn port MAC address after link test fails (cable removed). Passive devices connected to a port will see all backbone traffic. Mode3 : Manual: No automatic MAC address learning (disabled). Mode4 : Automatic; active devices: Automatic MAC address learning. Re-learn port MAC address after a port is disabled/re-enabled. Passive devices connected to a port will see no backbone traffic.

What is groupSrcAddrLearningMode?

This read-write enumerated integer (1-4) selects how aggressively the module learns source MAC addresses. Modes range from automatic to manual-only. A value of 1 enables automatic passive learning.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.207.8.1.2.2.1.6
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ATI-MIB::groupSrcAddrLearningMode

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.207.8.1.2.2.1.6.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ATI-MIB::groupSrcAddrLearningMode.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.207.8.1.2.2.1.6.1 i <value>
