Description: The number of packets dropped during transmit on the interface caused by Time To Live (TTL) expiration.
Discontinuities in the value of this counter can occur at re-initialization of the management system, and at other times as indicated by the value of ifCounterDiscontinuityTime.
What is aristaXgsIfTxTtlDrop?
Counts the number of packets dropped during transmit because their Time To Live (TTL) field reached zero, preventing forwarding loops. A rising count may indicate routing loops or misconfigured TTL values in the network.
