Discontinuities in the value of this counter can occur at re-initialization of the management system, and at other times as indicated by the value of aristaSwFwdIpStatsDiscontinuityTime.
What is aristaSwFwdIpStatsOutOctets?
Measures the total byte volume of IP datagrams delivered by software to the lower layers for outbound transmission. This counter is useful for tracking outbound bandwidth usage at the IP software forwarding layer.
