Description: The total number of octets received in software in input IP datagrams, including those received in error. Octets from datagrams counted in aristaSwFwdIpStatsInReceives MUST be counted here.
Discontinuities in the value of this counter can occur at re-initialization of the management system, and at other times as indicated by the value of aristaSwFwdIpStatsDiscontinuityTime.
What is aristaSwFwdIpStatsInOctets?
Counts the total number of bytes received in IP datagrams processed by the software forwarding path, including bytes from erroneous packets, giving a measure of overall software-path inbound IP traffic volume.
