signalingConfigDebugMode

Module: APTIS-CONFIG-MIB

OID (symbolic): APTIS-CONFIG-MIB::signalingConfigDebugMode

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2637.2.1.253.1.16

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-create

Description: Enables a mode where every other DS1 is unavailable, and a phantom call is generated for every incoming call on the unavailable DS1. This allows testing to take place by looping each DS1 to the adjacent DS1, and generating call setups using the SNEM or a similar tool.

What is signalingConfigDebugMode?

This test mode (enabled/disabled) disables every other DS1 and generates phantom calls on unavailable channels for loopback testing. Network engineers enable this to validate call signaling paths without live traffic. Once testing completes, it's disabled to restore normal operation.
