Description: Send periodic LCP Echo-Request frames to detect dead links

What is pppIsdnConfigUseEchoes?

This Boolean enables periodic LCP Echo-Request frames to proactively detect dead ISDN links and trigger timely disconnection or re-establishment. Network engineers enable this on unreliable ISDN lines or wide-area dial-up links to quickly detect line failures. Echo requests prevent the system from leaving a seemingly active call alive when the physical line is dead.
