What is pppConfigSendShortSeq?

A boolean flag determining whether the Multilink Short Sequence Number option is sent in LCP frames, allowing 12-bit sequence numbers in fragmented packets instead of 24-bit. Useful when multilink fragmentation is active and saves 1.5 bytes per fragment. Example: enable on bundled T1 circuits using multilink PPP.
