OID (symbolic): APTIS-ACTIONS-MIB::sessionTerminateBootEra

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2637.2.3.230.1.11

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-create

Description: An input parameter to the session-terminate action. Together with the sessionID, uniquely identifies the session to terminate. If a value is provided, it must match the current value of bootEra, so this field is only provided as a safeguard to ensure that sessions from the wrong boot era can't be terminated accidentally.

What is sessionTerminateBootEra?

An integer representing the device boot generation counter, used to prevent terminating sessions from wrong boot cycle. Acts as a safety check when sessions survive reboots. Example: bootEra 42 must match current device bootEra to prevent session from old boot from terminating new sessions.
