What Is APPIAN-SYSTEM-MIB?
APPIAN-SYSTEM-MIB is an Appian Communications, Inc. (built on APPIAN-CHASSIS-MIB/APPIAN-SMI-MIB) proprietary MIB configuring system-level services — configuration management, event logging, statistics collection, alarms/thresholds, and OSAP discovery/topology. Its objects cover a community-manager table (node/community ID, admin status, community string, access rights), a source-address table (node/community ID, IP address/subnet, admin status), a stats-manager table (node ID, admin status), and an event-manager control table (node ID, admin status, log mode, max/current log-file size). As a configuration/status MIB it lets an administrator confirm SNMP-community access rights and event-log sizing on an Appian Communications access platform. It is deployed on Appian Communications, Inc. access platforms. Engineers can download the APPIAN-SYSTEM-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
