apexSntpUtcOffset

Module: APEX-MIB

OID (symbolic): APEX-MIB::apexSntpUtcOffset

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1166.1.31.2.1.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: The value of this object is the Universal Time Coordinated (UTC) offset from GPS time. Subtract this from GPS time to convert from GPS to UTC. Units are seconds.

When time source is SNTP, this object can be set to specify the UTC offset that the APEX will use in calculating GPS time.

Once written, the change to this parameter will take immediate effect. However, in order for the change to persist through subsequent reboots or power cycles, the change must be saved via the apexSaveConfig parameter.

@Config(config=yes, reboot=no) @Save(apexSaveConfig, value=2) @File(config.ini, type='ini')

What is apexSntpUtcOffset?

Configures or reports the offset in seconds between GPS time and UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) used by the APEX when operating in SNTP time mode. Subtracting this value from GPS time converts it to UTC.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1166.1.31.2.1.1.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> APEX-MIB::apexSntpUtcOffset

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1166.1.31.2.1.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> APEX-MIB::apexSntpUtcOffset.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1166.1.31.2.1.1.2.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> apexSntpUtcOffset.1
