apexSesContConfRedundThreshold

Module: APEX-MIB

OID (symbolic): APEX-MIB::apexSesContConfRedundThreshold

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1166.1.31.9.1.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: This object is obsolete.

Session Control Redundancy Threshold.

This is the percent used to determine Fail Over from Primary to Secondary, and Switch Back from Secondary to Primary. If a value of zero is specified, Fail Over or Switch Back will not occur. Range is 0 to 100%.

Primary Fail Over to Secondary: FailOver = (PrimaryRate) < (Threshold * SecondaryRate) The Primary must remain below the threshold for apexGbeConfInRedundMonitorPeriod.

Secondary Switch Back to Primary: SwitchBack = (PrimaryRate) >= (Threshold * SecondaryRate) The Primary must remain at or above the threshold for apexGbeConfInRedundMonitorPeriod seconds. The APEX will delay Switch Back an additional apexGbeConfInRedundSwitchTime seconds. Switch Back will not occur when apexGbeConfInRedundAutoSwitchBack is 'disabled'.

Once written, the change to this parameter will take immediate effect. However, in order for the change to persist through subsequent reboots or power cycles, the change must be saved via the apexSaveConfig parameter.

@Config(config=yes, reboot=no) @Save(apexSaveConfig, value=2) @File(sdv.ini, type='ini')

What is apexSesContConfRedundThreshold?

This obsolete object formerly set the percentage threshold that triggers failover from the primary to the secondary stream, and switchback from secondary to primary, in session control redundancy mode. A value of zero disabled failover and switchback entirely.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1166.1.31.9.1.1.4
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> APEX-MIB::apexSesContConfRedundThreshold

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1166.1.31.9.1.1.4.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> APEX-MIB::apexSesContConfRedundThreshold.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1166.1.31.9.1.1.4.1 i <value>
