apexGbeConfigFrameBufferMaxInDataRate

Module: APEX-MIB

OID (symbolic): APEX-MIB::apexGbeConfigFrameBufferMaxInDataRate

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1166.1.31.7.1.3.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: Maximum Gigabit Ethernet MPEG input data rate in bps. This is the total amount of MPEG data expected to be received by Gigabit Ethernet frame interfaces on the processor.

This data rate is used to determine the frame buffer reset limit. The expected data rate should always be set equal to or greater than the actual input data rate. The value of apexGbeJitterAbsorption can limit the valid range of this data rate. It is highly recommended that the user consult with Motorola prior to changing the expected data rate.

What is apexGbeConfigFrameBufferMaxInDataRate?

Configures the maximum total MPEG input data rate (in bps) expected on GbE frame interfaces for a given processor, which is used to calculate the frame buffer reset threshold. Setting this value accurately prevents unnecessary buffer resets under normal load.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1166.1.31.7.1.3.1.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> APEX-MIB::apexGbeConfigFrameBufferMaxInDataRate

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1166.1.31.7.1.3.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> APEX-MIB::apexGbeConfigFrameBufferMaxInDataRate.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1166.1.31.7.1.3.1.2.1 i <value>
