apexGbeConfInputMulticastTimeout

Module: APEX-MIB

OID (symbolic): APEX-MIB::apexGbeConfInputMulticastTimeout

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1166.1.31.7.1.1.11

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: Loss of input stream timeout value (in milliseconds) for multicast inputs. This determines the amount of time a unicast input stream is missing before the APEX will declare the input stream lost.

Loss of input is used for determining all SDV failover conditions. It is also used for Manual Routing failover conditions when using hot/warm transport stream redundancy.

Once written, the change to this parameter will take immediate effect. However, in order for the change to persist through subsequent reboots or power cycles, the change must be saved via the apexSaveConfig parameter.

@Range(step=200) @Config(config=yes, reboot=no) @Save(apexSaveConfig, value=2) @File(config.ini, type='ini')

What is apexGbeConfInputMulticastTimeout?

Sets the timeout (in milliseconds) the APEX device waits after a multicast input stream goes missing before declaring that stream lost. Like the unicast equivalent, this value drives SDV failover logic.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1166.1.31.7.1.1.11
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> APEX-MIB::apexGbeConfInputMulticastTimeout

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1166.1.31.7.1.1.11.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> APEX-MIB::apexGbeConfInputMulticastTimeout.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1166.1.31.7.1.1.11.1 i <value>
