apexGbeConfIfRedundAutoSwitchBackEnable

Module: APEX-MIB

OID (symbolic): APEX-MIB::apexGbeConfIfRedundAutoSwitchBackEnable

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1166.1.31.7.1.7.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: EnableDisableTYPE

Access: read-write

Description: Enables the ability for the secondary interface to switch back when link is re-detected on the primary interface. Auto switch back to the primary interface will not occur if the user forced a failover to the secondary. Auto switch back only occurs after a non-forced failover.

Once written, the change to this parameter will take immediate effect. However, in order for the change to persist through subsequent reboots or power cycles, the change must be saved via apexSaveConfig.

@Config(config=yes, reboot=no) @Save(apexSaveConfig, value=2) @File(gige_red.ini, type='ini')

What is apexGbeConfIfRedundAutoSwitchBackEnable?

Enables automatic restoration of traffic to the primary GbE interface after it recovers from a link failure, provided the original failover was not operator-initiated. When disabled, the device remains on the secondary interface even after the primary link returns.
