apexEasServerSourceIpAddress

Module: APEX-MIB

OID (symbolic): APEX-MIB::apexEasServerSourceIpAddress

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1166.1.31.21.1.4.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: IpAddress

Access: read-write

Description: This parameter indicates the Source IP Receive address on which to receive EAS messages. This is only for IGMP v3 networks.

If 0.0.0.0, then source IP is not used.

Once written, the change to this parameter will only take immediate effect after apexEasServerApplyChange is set to 'apply'. In order for the change to persist through subsequent reboots or power cycles, the change must be saved via the apexSaveConfig parameter.

What is apexEasServerSourceIpAddress?

Configures the source IP address from which the device will accept incoming Emergency Alert System (EAS) messages on IGMPv3 multicast networks. If set to 0.0.0.0, source IP filtering is disabled and messages are accepted from any sender.
