Description: When enabled, Spanning Tree can interoperate with Cisco switch in PVST+ mode. When disabled, Spanning Tree is back to normal 1x1 mode.
What is vStpBridgeModePVST?
This writable boolean enables (1) PVST+ mode (Cisco compatibility) where the switch sends and accepts PVST+ BPDUs alongside standard RSTP. Engineers enable this when connecting to Cisco switches that require PVST+ for per-VLAN STP. Disabled (2) uses only IEEE standard RSTP.
