Description: The identification of the SNMP engine at which the alarm originated. If the alarm is from an SNMPv1 system this object is a zero length string.

What is alarmActiveEngineID?

Identifies the SNMP engine on which the alarm originated, enabling management systems to pinpoint the source device. For legacy SNMPv1 traps, this field is returned as an empty string since SNMPv1 does not use engine IDs.
