Module: ADSL-LINE-MIB

OID (symbolic): ADSL-LINE-MIB::adslAturCurrSnrMgn

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.94.1.1.3.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description:

Noise Margin as seen by this ATU with respect to its received signal in tenth dB.

What is adslAturCurrSnrMgn?

This OID measures the signal-to-noise ratio margin at the remote ATUR, expressed in tenths of dB, showing how much headroom the signal has above the noise floor. Network engineers monitor this metric to assess line stability; a low or negative margin means the signal is barely above noise and the line is prone to errors. A value of 60 means 6 dB of margin (acceptable), while 10 means only 1 dB (unstable line).
