Module: ADSL-LINE-MIB

OID (symbolic): ADSL-LINE-MIB::adslAturCurrAttainableRate

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.94.1.1.3.1.8

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Gauge32

Access: read-only

Description:

Indicates the maximum currently attainable data rate by the ATU. This value will be equal or greater than the current line rate.

What is adslAturCurrAttainableRate?

This OID indicates the maximum upstream data rate that the remote ATUR can currently achieve given current line conditions, measured in bits per second. Technicians use this to understand the available upload bandwidth from the customer back to the central office; a low attainable rate limits upstream performance. An attainable rate of 1000000 (1 Mbps) upstream is typical for ADSL, much lower than downstream capability.
