Description:

Configured Target Signal/Noise Margin. This is the Noise Margin the modem must achieve with a BER of 10-7 or better to successfully complete initialization.

What is adslAturConfTargetSnrMgn?

This OID sets the target Signal-to-Noise Margin (SNR) in tenths of a dB that the modem must achieve before completing initialization. Network engineers configure this threshold to ensure the line has acceptable quality before the connection is brought up, preventing unreliable connections. Setting this to 60 (6.0 dB) means the modem will not complete startup until it measures at least 6.0 dB of noise margin.
