Module: ADSL-LINE-MIB
OID (symbolic): ADSL-LINE-MIB::adslAturConfMinSnrMgn
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.94.1.1.14.1.20
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-create
Description:
Configured Minimum acceptable Signal/Noise Margin. If the noise margin falls below this level, the modem should attempt to increase its power output. If that is not possible the modem will attempt to re-initialize or shut down.
What is adslAturConfMinSnrMgn?
This OID sets the minimum acceptable Signal-to-Noise Margin (SNR) in tenths of a dB; if it falls below this, the modem increases power or re-initializes the connection. Network engineers configure this floor to detect and respond to deteriorating line quality before the connection becomes unusable. Setting this to 30 (3.0 dB) triggers the modem to increase power output if SNR drops below 3.0 dB.
