adslAturConfMinDownshiftTime
Module: ADSL-LINE-MIB
OID (symbolic): ADSL-LINE-MIB::adslAturConfMinDownshiftTime
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.94.1.1.14.1.24
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-create
Description:
Minimum time that the current margin is below DownshiftSnrMgn before a downshift occurs. In the case that RADSL mode is not present, the value will be `0'.
What is adslAturConfMinDownshiftTime?
This OID specifies the minimum time in seconds that SNR must stay below the downshift threshold before the modem reduces speed. Network engineers set this to avoid unnecessary downshifts caused by momentary noise spikes, keeping the connection at higher speed when possible. Setting this to 30 means the modem only downshifts after SNR has been poor for at least 30 consecutive seconds.
