adslAtucThreshInterleaveRateUp

Module: ADSL-LINE-MIB

OID (symbolic): ADSL-LINE-MIB::adslAtucThreshInterleaveRateUp

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.94.1.1.15.1.8

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-create

Description: Applies to `Interleave' channels only. Configured change in rate causing an

adslAtucRateChangeTrap. A trap is produced when: ChanCurrTxRate >= ChanPrevTxRate plus the value of this object. A value of `0' will disable the trap.

What is adslAtucThreshInterleaveRateUp?

This OID sets the minimum upload rate increase threshold for the interleave channel, which provides lower speed but higher reliability. A network engineer uses this to track unexpected changes in the slower, more error-resistant transmission path. For example, a value of 500000 (500 kbps) alerts when the interleave upload rate rises by 500 kbps or more.
