Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-create

Description:

Applies to `Fast' channels only. Configured change in rate causing an adslAtucRateChangeTrap. A trap is produced when: ChanCurrTxRate <= ChanPrevTxRate minus the value of this object. A value of `0' will disable the trap.

What is adslAtucThreshFastRateDown?

This OID defines the minimum download rate decrease (in bits per second) on the fast channel before alerting. Engineers use this to quickly detect when link speed drops, which usually signals a developing problem. Setting it to 2000000 (2 Mbps) triggers an alert if the fast-channel download speed falls by 2 Mbps or more.
