Description:

The number of Loss of Frame Seconds encountered by an ADSL interface within any given 15 minutes performance data collection period, which causes the SNMP agent to send an adslAtucPerfLofsThreshTrap. One trap will be sent per interval per interface. A value of `0' will disable the trap.

What is adslAtucThresh15MinLofs?

This OID stores a threshold (0-900 seconds) for how many Loss of Frame Seconds can occur on an ADSL line within any 15-minute window before triggering an alert. Network engineers set this to detect when the ADSL transceiver loses synchronization with the frame structure, which indicates a connection problem. For example, setting this to 100 means an alert trap fires if the interface experiences more than 100 frame-loss seconds in a single 15-minute period.
