Module: ADSL-LINE-MIB

OID (symbolic): ADSL-LINE-MIB::adslAtucCurrAttainableRate

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.94.1.1.2.1.8

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Gauge32

Access: read-only

Description:

Indicates the maximum currently attainable data rate by the ATU. This value will be equal or greater than

the current line rate.

What is adslAtucCurrAttainableRate?

This OID indicates the maximum data rate that the ATUC can currently achieve based on existing line conditions, measured in bits per second. Engineers use this to understand the theoretical ceiling for connection speed; if the attainable rate drops over time, it signals the line is degrading. An attainable rate of 8000000 (8 Mbps) means the line could theoretically support that speed even if currently running slower.
