Module: ADSL-LINE-MIB

OID (symbolic): ADSL-LINE-MIB::adslAtucConfMinSnrMgn

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.94.1.1.14.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-create

Description:

Configured Minimum acceptable Signal/Noise Margin. If the noise margin falls below this level, the modem should attempt to increase its power output. If that is not possible the modem will attempt to re-initialize or shut down.

What is adslAtucConfMinSnrMgn?

This OID defines the minimum Signal-to-Noise Margin in 0.1 dB units that the modem must maintain to keep the connection stable. If the margin falls below this threshold, the modem will either increase power or re-initialize to avoid disconnection. A value of 40 (representing 4 dB) is a minimum safety threshold; if noise increases and margin drops below this, the modem takes corrective action.
