Module: ADSL-LINE-MIB

OID (symbolic): ADSL-LINE-MIB::adslAtucChanPrevTxRate

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.10.94.1.1.4.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Gauge32

Access: read-only

Description:

The rate at the time of the last adslAtucRateChangeTrap event. It is also set at initialization to prevent a trap being sent.

Rate changes less than adslAtucThresh(*)RateDown or less than adslAtucThresh(*)RateUp will not cause a trap or cause this object to change. (*) == Fast or Interleave. See AdslLineAlarmConfProfileEntry.

What is adslAtucChanPrevTxRate?

This OID stores the transmission rate that was in effect the last time a rate-change trap was triggered on the ATUC channel. Engineers use this to track historical rate negotiations and determine whether the line is slowly degrading by comparing previous rates to current rates. If this value is 7000000 and the current rate is 5000000, the line has degraded by 2 Mbps since the last renegotiation.
