Description: The total number of ATM cells transmitted on this port.
What is acosWANAtmTotalTxCells?
This read-only counter shows the cumulative total of all ATM cells transmitted out of this WAN port since startup or the last reboot. Network engineers use this to calculate overall throughput, measure link utilization, and verify that traffic is actually leaving the equipment toward the remote peer. A value of 2000000 indicates two million cells have been sent, which equals roughly 106 megabytes of data at 53 bytes per cell.
