What is acosWANAtmOamRxCells?
This counter tracks the number of Operation and Maintenance (OAM) ATM cells received on a WAN port, representing network health signals sent by the remote end. Network engineers monitor this to verify that OAM diagnostic traffic is flowing properly and to detect when connectivity monitoring signaling is reaching the equipment. A reading of 1500 means 1500 OAM heartbeat cells have arrived on this port since the last reset, indicating the link is actively supervised.
