acosNatUdpTimeout
Module: ACOS-MIB
OID (symbolic): ACOS-MIB::acosNatUdpTimeout
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2221.1.1.15.4
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: TimeTicks
Access: read-write
Description: The NAT UDP connection timeout time in hundredths of seconds.
What is acosNatUdpTimeout?
This OID specifies how long the NAT device retains UDP flow state before expiring it, with time measured in hundredths of a second. Engineers adjust this to match application requirements; DNS uses short timeouts while VoIP may need longer windows to handle packet jitter. A value of 30000 means UDP flows timeout after 300 seconds (5 minutes), suitable for web browsing and streaming without hogging memory.
