Description: The NAT TCP connection timeout time in hundredths of seconds.
What is acosNatTcpTimeout?
This OID sets how long the NAT device maintains a TCP session state entry before considering the connection dead, measured in hundredths of a second. Admins tune this timeout to balance resource usage against connection reliability; longer timeouts consume memory but tolerate network delays better. A value of 432000 means TCP sessions timeout after 4320 seconds (72 minutes), appropriate for long-lived database or file-transfer connections.
