Description: The slot number the device resides in. The slot numbers range from 1 to the maximum number of slots reported in object 'acosTotalSlots'.

What is acosEthernetSlotIndex?

This OID reports which physical slot position the Ethernet card is installed in, ranging from 1 to the total number of slots in the chassis. A technician uses this to identify the location of Ethernet connectivity in the multi-card system. For example, a value of 5 means the Ethernet card is in slot 5.
