Module: ACOS-MIB

OID (symbolic): ACOS-MIB::acosDhcpGateway

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2221.1.1.14.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: IpAddress

Access: read-write

Description: The default gateway IP address to be returned to the DHCP client.

What is acosDhcpGateway?

This OID stores the default gateway IP address that the DHCP server will send to all clients. Engineers configure this so clients know how to reach networks beyond their local subnet. Example: setting this to 192.168.1.1 tells DHCP clients to send traffic destined for remote networks through that router.
