Description: The slot number the device resides in. The slot numbers range from 1 to the maximum number of slots reported in object 'acosTotalSlots'.

What is acosDeviceSlotIndex?

This OID identifies which physical slot a particular device card occupies in the chassis, using a number from 1 to the maximum number of slots. Network technicians use this to locate hardware components for troubleshooting, replacement, or maintenance. For example, a value of 3 means the device is installed in physical slot 3 of the chassis.
