Description: This command is used to switch beetween software versions stored in the flash. setting this value to active will reset the agent and re-activate it with the new version ( only if new version is valid). on get-request this value will be always notActive.
What is atmSuSystemSwSwitchVersionsCmd?
This OID is a command to switch between different software versions already stored in the device's flash memory and triggers a device reset to activate the selected version. Network engineers use this to test new firmware or rollback to a previous version if the current one has issues without physically accessing the hardware. Setting the value to active causes an immediate reboot with the alternate software version; reading this OID always returns notActive.
