What is atmSuSystemAalSelection?
This OID selects which ATM Adaptation Layer (AAL1 or AAL2) is used to convert voice or data into ATM cells on supported devices like the LA-140 module. Network engineers choose AAL based on traffic type: AAL1 for constant-bitrate voice, AAL2 for variable-bitrate multimedia data. For example, selecting AAL1 configures the device for traditional circuit-emulation voice calls over ATM.
