This OID counts frames transmitted with the Backward Explicit Congestion Notification (BECN) bit set to signal local users and applications to reduce their transmission rate. The device marks outgoing frames with BECN when it receives congestion signals from the Frame Relay network, effectively throttling local traffic. For example, a value of 800 means 800 frames were marked with BECN to tell local users to slow down their transmissions.
