This OID counts frames received with the Backward Explicit Congestion Notification (BECN) bit set, signaling that congestion exists on the path from this device back to the sending end. BECN notifications tell the device that its upstream network is congested and it should reduce sending additional traffic. For example, a value of 600 means this device received 600 slowdown requests indicating congestion between itself and the sending endpoint.
