What is atmSuPortAtmVclStatsRxCells?
This counter totals all the successfully received ATM cells on the Virtual Channel Link (VCL) that passed error detection checks and arrived intact. Network engineers use this to measure the overall throughput on a virtual channel and to establish a baseline for how much legitimate traffic is flowing across this connection. If a VCL shows 10 billion cells received in a 24-hour period, that represents roughly 40 Gbps of payload traffic if each cell carries 48 bytes of data.
