Module: ACE20-MIB

OID (symbolic): ACE20-MIB::atmFrCnfgPriority

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.164.12.4.3.1.4.1.13

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-create

Description: This object define the priority of connection. The first parameter affects the transmition of cells in Conjested network is the bitRate( Cbr has the highest priority and then Vbr,Ubr ) In connections with the same bitRate this object will define the priority.

What is atmFrCnfgPriority?

This OID sets the priority level of the cross-connect, determining which connections get bandwidth first when the network becomes congested. Network engineers assign higher priority to critical business traffic (voice, VPN) and lower priority to best-effort data, ensuring service quality during peak usage. A priority value of 1 means this connection gets serviced last (lowest priority), while a value of 4 means it receives preferential treatment during congestion.
