OID (symbolic): ACE20-MIB::atmEtherCnfgPriority

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.164.12.4.3.4.2.1.12

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-create

Description: This object define the priority of connection. The first parameter affects the transmition of cells in Conjested network is the Service Category( Cbr has the highest priority and then Vbr,Ubr ) In connections with the same category this object will define the priority.

What is atmEtherCnfgPriority?

This OID sets the relative priority of the bridge's traffic when the ATM network is congested, determining which frames get dropped last during network overload. You would assign higher priority to mission-critical applications and lower priority to best-effort traffic. A value of 1 (high priority) means this bridge's cells are less likely to be discarded than a bridge with priority 5 (low priority).
