OID (symbolic): ACE20-MIB::atmDxiCnfgPriority

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.164.12.4.3.2.2.1.11

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-create

Description: This object define the priority of connection. The first parameter affects the transmition of cells in Conjested network is the bitRate( Cbr has the highest priority and then Vbr,Ubr ) In connections with the same bitRate this object will define the priority.

What is atmDxiCnfgPriority?

This OID sets the priority level of this cross-connect when the ATM network is congested and must drop cells. Higher-priority connections (like voice) get delivered first; lower ones (like email) wait or get dropped. Setting priority to 1 for a video stream ensures it gets better treatment than priority-3 file transfer traffic during network overload.
