Description: This object identifies the connector index on the box. The index is assigned form left to rigth starting with 1.

What is acdSfpThreshConnIdx?

This OID identifies which physical connector slot (1, 2, 3, etc.) the following threshold alarm settings apply to. Network engineers use this to correlate threshold violations with specific ports on the equipment so they know which SFP module needs attention. If this value is 2, all subsequent threshold OIDs like acdSfpThreshTempHighAlm describe alarm limits for the second (or second-from-left) SFP connector.
