What is acdPolicyEvcMappingEncaps?
This OID specifies the encapsulation action for Ethernet Virtual Connections, such as whether to push or pop VLAN tags (stored as an INTEGER enumeration). Network engineers configure encapsulation to add or remove VLAN tags when traffic enters or exits an EVL-based service, supporting multi-tenant or service segregation. A value of 2 might mean 'push a VLAN tag,' wrapping traffic in a service-provider VLAN for transport.
